Details #

systemVersion() takes no arguments and returns text in the form major.minor, such as 15.1. There is no patch number; use systemLongVersion for that.

Gotchas #

• Calling it with an argument is an error: systemVersion() takes 0 arguments, got 1.

• It is text. 15.10 and 15.1 are different versions, so don't compare it as a number.
