menuBarHeight

Returns the height of the menu bar in points.

Details #

menuBarHeight() takes no arguments and returns the thickness of the menu bar in points, usually 22.

Parameters #

Takes 0 arguments. {{ menuBarHeight() }}

Examples #

menuBarHeight()
→ 0

Gotchas #

  • Calling it with any argument is an error: menuBarHeight() takes 0 arguments, got 1.

  • When no real Mac is behind it (tests, previews) or the Mac can't answer, it returns 0.
