macroName

Details #

macroName(id) takes exactly one argument, a macro ID, and returns the macro's name as text. It can find the running macro and the macros the runner passed in; any other ID gives empty text.

Takes 0 to 1 argument. {{ macroName(text?) }}

Examples #

macroName("abc")

Gotchas #

• An ID it doesn't know returns empty text, not an error.

• Calling it with no argument is an error: macroName() takes 1 argument, got 0.
