Support

One person makes Switchboard and answers the mail. Most questions answer themselves first, which is the point of the traces.

  1. Open Activity (⌘2): every run has a trace, and Not Fired says why a hotkey didn't run.
  2. Press Fix with AI on a failed run: it reads the trace and proposes the change, with the cost shown.
  3. Search the docs: every step, trigger, condition and function has a page, and the guides cover imports, permissions and agents.
  4. Write to me. I reply within two working days, usually sooner.

Send Feedback in the app (Help › Send Feedback) attaches the exact details you choose, with a preview of everything before it goes.

Bought it and it isn't for you? Write within 14 days and the money comes back, no questions asked.

Privacy

Nothing leaves your Mac unless you turn on sync, the AI, or share a macro by link. The privacy page lists every case. Read the privacy page.

What if it isn’t for me?

Write within 14 days of buying and the money comes back, no questions asked. The trial before that is 30 days, so most people know by then.

Is my old library safe during an import?

Yes. Switchboard only reads the other app’s files. Imported groups arrive turned off so nothing doubles, and the review says what came across and what needs a look before anything is saved.

How many Macs?

Three per licence, every plan. Remove one in Settings › Account to free the seat.

Does the AI do things on its own?

No. A model runs only when you ask it to, through Make with AI, Fix with AI, Make an extension, or a step you put in a macro yourself. A badge shows when one ran and what it cost. A destructive step still waits for your approval when an agent asks for it.

Which macOS?

macOS 26 only. There is no Windows or Linux version. The iPhone and Watch apps need iOS 26 and watchOS 26.

What happens when my year of updates ends?

Nothing stops working. Every version released before your year ended keeps running for good; $29 adds another year of new ones whenever you want it.
