Keyboard Shortcuts

Every hotkey Switchboard owns in one list, with a warning when two share a key.

One place to see the global hotkeys of Switchboard's own features.

What's here #

  • Switchboard's own hotkeys: Palette, Clipboard History, Actions for This, Paste As, Selection Bar and Dictation (hold to talk). A feature with no key shows Off.

  • Change… opens that feature's area, where you record the key.

  • A row says "Same key as" another when two share a key.

  • Macro hotkeys: Show Macro Hotkeys opens the list of the hotkeys your macros use, with any that clash.

Tricks #

  • Fix a clash by changing either feature's key in its own area.

  • The Selection Bar only has a key when its mode is the hotkey.
