Name this Mac and see the other Macs you can run macros on.

Run a macro on another of your Macs from the palette or a Run macro step.

What's here #

  • This Mac: the Name your other devices see, in "Run on ..." rows. Left empty, it uses the computer's name from System Settings.

  • Your other Macs: each one that has signed in, whether it's awake, and whether it's on this network. Forget removes a retired Mac.

Tricks #

  • Rename a Mac here if two share a name.

  • Both Macs need the same iCloud account and Sync through iCloud on.

  • A request to a sleeping Mac is queued and runs when it wakes. Switchboard doesn't wake it.

  • A Mac you forget adds itself back if Switchboard is still running there.
