Quit app
Asks an app to quit, or quits every open app except the ones you keep.
Quit app
Keyboard Maestro: QuitSpecificApp, QuitAll
Details #
Asks the app to quit, the same as choosing Quit from its menu. The app can save its work or ask you to confirm. If the app is not running, the step does nothing and says "wasn't running". The output lists the apps that were asked to quit.
Name the app with app (a bundle id or a name) or bundleId. To quit many apps, set all to true. That asks every regular app to quit except Finder and Switchboard. Add apps to except to keep them as well. Background and menu bar-only apps are left alone.
The step does not wait for the app to finish quitting. If a later step depends on it, add Wait with app and gone.
