Let it through (guardrail)

Ends a guardrail's check and lets the key, click or Quit through.

Let the key through

Details #

Ends the macro with the answer allow. The held key, click or Quit goes to the app, followed by anything typed in the meantime.

A check macro that ends without returning anything allows too, so this step is for macros that want to say so, such as the last branch of an If.

Parameters #

This step takes no parameters.

None.

Examples #

Let ⌘Q through for Notes
When
  1. Before you quit Notes
Do
  1. Let it through
Open in Switchboard to try it

Gotchas #

  • Outside a guardrail the step does nothing but end the macro with "allow" as its returned value.
