Cloud model

Chooses whether Make with AI uses your own Anthropic API key.

Where: Settings › Ai, under Cloud model, the Cloud model menu.

Key: aiMode. Type: text. Default: off.

Values:

  • off: Off.

  • ownKey: My Anthropic key. A field for your Anthropic API key appears. The key is stored in your Keychain on this Mac, never in a file, and Remove Key deletes it.

Make with AI writes a macro from a sentence using a cloud model. Macros that run on their own use the on-device model and never leave the Mac.
