POST /apps/call

Runs one app action for an agent, if the app is allowed for agents, and traces it by the agent.

Details #

Body: {"type": "app.<bundle id>.<intent id>", "params": {…}, "agent": "claude-code"}. Answers with the action's output. The MCP server asks you for approval first when the action changes things; this route does not, so it is for the MCP server and your own tools, which hold the token.

curl -s -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" -d '{"type":"app.com.example.day.AddToInboxIntent","params":{"text":"Call dentist"}}' http://127.0.0.1:48080/apps/call

An app that is not in "Agents may use" answers 404.

Parameters #

curl --unix-socket "$SWITCHBOARD_HOME/engine.sock" -X POST http://localhost/apps/call

Run one app action for an agent. The Unix socket needs no token; loopback 127.0.0.1:48080 needs Authorization: Bearer <api-token>.
