dry_run

Runs an exposed or agent-created macro in dry-run mode, simulating steps that are not dry-run safe, with no approval needed.

Details #

A dry run walks the macro and simulates every step that is not marked dry-run safe. Nothing outside Switchboard changes. It is the way for an agent to test a macro it just made with create_macro, which stays disabled until you review it.

Gotchas #

  • Dry runs still count against the 60-runs-a-minute limit.

  • A dry run does not return a returned value.
