begin_session

Starts a session in which an agent may find elements and act in the Mac apps you named, after you approve it.

Details #

Listed only while Direct control in Settings > Agents & MCP is not Off. The agent says what it is about to do (intent) and which apps (apps). Unless Direct control is "Looking only", you are asked first, on your phone: "Claude Code wants to control Slack for 2 minutes · 'post the standup note'". A session is fenced to those apps, lasts at most 10 minutes, and one session is live at a time; a second begin_session is refused and names the live one's intent.
