An MCP resource says
Passes when an expression over an MCP resource's current content is true, such as the state of a pull request.
uri on server satisfies expression
Details #
Reads the resource now and evaluates expression over what it holds, using the same names a macro gets from the An MCP resource changes trigger: text, json, mimeType, uri and server. It passes when the expression is true. With no expression it passes whenever the resource can be read.
Use it as an Only if, or in an If step. If the server is off, unknown or can't be reached, the condition fails with the reason instead of quietly saying no.
Every condition accepts "negate": true, which flips the verdict.
Parameters #
| Parameter | Type | Required | Values | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
server | text | Yes | Required. The server's name from Settings › Agents & MCP. | |
uri | text | Yes | Required. The resource's address. | |
expression | text | An expression such as json.state == "open". A broken expression is false. |
