switchboard oauth

Lists, adds and removes the OAuth accounts that http steps sign in with.

Details #

switchboard oauth list [--json]
switchboard oauth add google TH3 --client-id 123-abc.apps.googleusercontent.com --email [email protected] --scope tagmanager --scope searchconsole
switchboard oauth remove TH3

list prints each account's name, provider, email, status and scopes (never a token); --json gives the same as JSON. add google writes the account; --scope is one of tagmanager, analytics, analytics-users, analytics-edit or searchconsole and can repeat (default: Tag Manager, Analytics and Search Console read access). remove deletes the account and its Keychain items.

Signing in stays in the app: open Library ▸ Sign-ins and press Sign In. The engine doesn't need to be running.

Parameters #

switchboard oauth list [--json]
switchboard oauth add google <name> --client-id <id> [--email <address>] [--scope tagmanager|analytics|analytics-users|analytics-edit|searchconsole]… add a Google account; sign in to it in Library ▸ Sign-ins
switchboard oauth remove <name>

The OAuth accounts (name, email, signed in or not, scopes; never a token).

Remove an account and its tokens.

Gotchas #

  • The client ID must be a Google client of type iOS (it ends in .apps.googleusercontent.com); anything else is refused.

  • Names are 1 to 40 letters, digits, spaces, - or _, unique ignoring case.
