switchboard apps
Lists the Mac apps whose actions Switchboard offers as steps; rescans, searches, adds the Shortcuts bridge, runs an action.
Details #
switchboard apps prints one line per app: a dot (off when you switched the app off), the name, how many actions, events and states it offers, and the runner that would run it. [open only] means its actions cannot run yet: add the Shortcuts bridge for it in Settings › App Actions.
switchboard apps
switchboard apps --json
switchboard apps rescan
switchboard apps search complete todo
switchboard apps bridge Day
switchboard apps bridge Day --check
switchboard apps run Day:AddToInboxIntent text="Call dentist"
bridge makes, signs and opens the shortcut "Switchboard · Day"; click Add Shortcut once, then --check finds it and remembers it. run runs one action through the engine, the way a macro step would.
search prints each hit's step type, which is what a macro stores (app.com.example.App.DoThingIntent).
