switchboard held

Lists the runs held because the Mac could not do them yet; runs one now or drops it.

Details #

switchboard held lists what is held: the first characters of its id, the macro, why it waits and since when.

switchboard held
switchboard held --json
switchboard held --all
switchboard held run 3f9a1c2b
switchboard held drop 3f9a1c2b
switchboard held run-all
switchboard held drop-all

An id can be the first few characters of it. run ignores what is in the way, so the run may fail.

Parameters #

switchboard held [--json] [--all]
switchboard held run|drop <id>
switchboard held run-all | drop-all

The runs held because the Mac couldn't do them yet (locked, an app missing…).

Run one now (ignoring what blocks it), or drop it.

Every held run.

Gotchas #

  • Exit code 69 means the engine is not running.

  • A held run starts by itself when the Mac can do it. You only run or drop one to override that.
