Macros to add
Four ready-made macros for error dialogs, form fields and the Inbox. Each one is turned off until you add it and choose to turn it on.
These use the triggers that watch other apps and the Inbox. They are not in the Examples group because they start watching as soon as they are on. Press Add to Library on one, read it, then turn it on when you want it.
The error dialog and form field macros need the Accessibility permission. The first one also needs Screen Recording for the screenshot.
Log every error dialog #
Writes every alert's app and text into the run's trace, and saves a screenshot of it in ~/Documents/Error dialogs.
- An error dialog appears
- Log “{{ app }}: {{ text }}”
- Run shell script “mkdir -p ~/Documents/'Error dialogs'…”
Explain this error #
Asks a model to put the dialog's text in plain words and shows the answer in a HUD. The model sees the dialog's text, so it leaves your Mac when you use a cloud model.
- An error dialog appears
- Ask AI to rewrite: “Explain this error message in plain…”
- Show “{{ explanation }}” for 12 s
Offer my email address in email fields #
Offers a short list whenever an email field takes focus, and types the one you pick. It never types without asking. Put your own addresses in the list.
- An email field takes focus
- Ask to choose from 0 options
- Type “{{ pick }}”
Weekly newsletter cleanup #
Asks on Monday at 9:00 whether to clean up, in the Inbox, so no window appears while you work. Nothing happens if you never answer. Put your own cleanup in the Archive branch.
- Every Mon at 09:00
- Ask later: “Archive this week's newsletters?” (Archive / Keep)
- If answer is “Archive”
- Show “Archiving the newsletters…”
